Escalating to the END TIMES

As of January 2024, this blog will begin a weekly or bi-weekly profile of books, articles, or videos by whistleblowers and truth-tellers proving to the world that the human condition is in a dire state of MAYDAY! because crime and corruption in high places has been allowed to prevail.

#284: Mayday Monday: A Mega Dose of Reality

Mayday Monday: Where Mayday exposes the human condition.

For those who want to wake-up to the reality and depth of power obsession, corruption, and abuse, one probably couldn’t get more informed instructors and commentators than Peter Duke and George Webb at The Duke Report:

Duke’s virtual shelf of books at should be sufficient witness to the dire state of the world and the precipice that humanity is being pushed over UNLESS we wake-up en masse and refuse to pretend it’s not happening. People! let us open our eyes!

#283: FTD* - JBPeterson - “Unresolved Problems”

Like a Hydra

*Friday's Truth-teller Docket: Where Mayday showcases truth tellers and observers of the real human condition.

“An unsolved problem seldom sits there, in stasis. It grows new heads, like a hydra. One lie— one act of avoidance— breeds the necessity for more. One act of self-deception generates the requirement to buttress that self-deceptive belief with new delusions. One devastated relationship, unaddressed, damages your reputation— damages your faith in yourself, equally— and decreases the probability of a new and better relationship. Thus, your refusal or even inability to come to terms with the errors of the past expands the source of such error— expands the unknown that surrounds you, transforms that unknown into something increasingly predatory.”**

#282: Mayday Monday: The Real Human Condition?

Mayday Monday: Where Mayday showcases books that deal in Truth and Reality. Begin with whichever Rule that most appeals to you out of the Twelve profiled and check your life against the words.
Those who are power hungry— tyrannical and cruel, even psychopathic— desire control over others so that every selfish whim of hedonism can be immediately gratified; so that envy can destroy its target; so that resentment can find its expression. But good people are ambitious (and diligent, honest, and focused along with it) instead because they are possessed by the desire to solve genuine, serious problems. That variant of ambition needs to be encouraged in every possible manner. It is for this reason, among many others, that the increasingly reflexive identification of the striving of boys and men for victory with the “patriarchal tyranny” that hypothetically characterizes our modern, productive, and comparatively free societies is so stunningly counterproductive (and, it must be said, cruel: there is almost nothing worse than treating someone striving for competence as a tyrant in training).*

#280: Mayday Monday – In the Tenth Generation*

Joseph Smith
 Translation (JST)
JST in bold***

Mayday Monday: Where Mayday reprints a Biblical Crisis.

Reflection: Only ten generations (circa 1700 years**?) to get to the flood! How many years to get from the promise of 1776 American to the corruptions of today?
5 ¶ And GOD saw that the wickedness of man had become great in the earth, and every man was lifted up in the imagination of the thoughts of his heart; being only evil continually.
6 And it repented Noah and his heart was pained, that the LORD had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth Noah that I have created them, and made them; and he hath called upon me for they have sought his life.
8 And thus, Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.***
*Old Testament | Genesis 5:Heading
The generations of Adam are: Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch (who walked with God), Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah (who begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth).

#279: FTD* - Perilous Times?

*Friday's Truth-teller Docket: Where Mayday showcases warning voices.

Reflection: Could there be a more apt description for the direction our society is being driven?
1 THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.*

#278: Mayday Monday: Introduction of Carnal, Sensual, and Devilish

Mayday Monday: Where Mayday reprints a scriptural explanation.

Reflection: When has carnal, sensual, and devilish not been the lament of God and His prophets?
12 And Adam and Eve blessed the name of God, and they made all things known unto their sons and their daughters.
13 And Satan came among them, saying: I am also a son of God; and he commanded them, saying: Believe it not; and they believed it not, and they loved Satan more than God. And men began from that time forth to be carnal, sensual, and devilish.
14 And the Lord God called upon men by the Holy Ghost everywhere and commanded them that they should repent;
15 And as many as believed in the Son, and repented of their sins, should be saved; and as many as believed not and repented not, should be damned; and the words went forth out of the mouth of God in a firm decree; wherefore they must be fulfilled.
16 And Adam and Eve, his wife, ceased not to call upon God. And Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bare Cain, and said: I have gotten a man from the Lord; wherefore he may not reject his words. But behold, Cain hearkened not, saying: Who is the Lord that I should know him?
17 And she again conceived and bare his brother Abel. And Abel hearkened unto the voice of the Lord. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
18 And Cain loved Satan more than God. And Satan commanded him[*], saying: Make an offering unto the Lord.
19 And in process of time it came to pass that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.
20 And Abel he also brought of the firstlings of his flock, and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel, and to his offering;
21 But unto Cain, and to his offering, he had not respect. Now Satan knew this, and it pleased him. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
22 And the Lord said unto Cain: Why art thou wroth? Why is thy countenance fallen?
23 If thou doest well, thou shalt be accepted. And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door, and Satan desireth to have thee; and except thou shalt hearken unto my commandments, I will deliver thee up, and it shall be unto thee according to his desire. And thou shalt rule over him;
24 For from this time forth thou shalt be the father of his lies; thou shalt be called Perdition; for thou wast also before the world.
25 And it shall be said in time to come—That these abominations were had from Cain; for he rejected the greater counsel which was had from God; and this is a cursing which I will put upon thee, except thou repent.
26 And Cain was wroth, and listened not any more to the voice of the Lord, neither to Abel, his brother, who walked in holiness before the Lord.
27 And Adam and his wife mourned before the Lord, because of Cain and his brethren.
28 And it came to pass that Cain took one of his brothers' daughters to wife, and they loved Satan more than God.
29 And Satan said unto Cain: Swear unto me by thy throat, and if thou tell it thou shalt die; and swear thy brethren by their heads, and by the living God, that they tell it not; for if they tell it, they shall surely die; and this that thy father may not know it; and this day I will deliver thy brother Abel into thine hands.
30 And Satan sware unto Cain that he would do according to his commands. And all these things were done in secret.
31 And Cain said: Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. Wherefore Cain was called Master Mahan, and he gloried in his wickedness.
32 And Cain went into the field, and Cain talked with Abel, his brother. And it came to pass that while they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel, his brother, and slew him.
33 And Cain gloried in that which he had done, saying: I am free; surely the flocks of my brother falleth into my hands.*
Observation: Does the bold of verse 18 above help us understand why Cain's sacrifice was rejected? Is this like what Isaiah meant when he asked:
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? (Old Testament | Isaiah 1:12)

#276: Mayday Monday – Beguiled From the Beginning

Mayday Monday: Where Mayday reprints a Biblical Event that has been repeated over and over in history.

Self-reflection: Have I ever been beguiled by the serpent?
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.*

#274: Mayday Monday: A Cautionary Parody

Let’s take a serious (yet hilarious) look at how easy it can be to take a profound message of insight and truth about the “human condition” and edit / invert it beyond recognition. This 3-minute inversion was done as parody* of a 3-hour conversation, but the editing and inversion by PINGTRIP was masterful; a cautionary illustration about believing or  trusting in what we see and hear, especially if we want to see and hear what has been inverted.

#272: Mayday Monday: “Ordinary Men”

This book tells how a group of “ordinary men” became killers for the “authorities.” Did we see a hint of this recently in the anger and hate-speech directed against the unvaccinated? Will it go beyond speech in the next round?
“These were men who had known political standards and moral norms other than those of the Nazis. Most came from Hamburg, by reputation one of the least nazified cities in Germany, and the majority came from a social class that had been anti-Nazi in its political culture. These men would not seem to have been a very promising group from which to recruit mass murderers on behalf of the Nazi vision of a racial utopia free of Jews.”*

#270: Mayday Monday - Lamentations

A book that profiles the historical lamentations of men who witnessed the recycling tendency to corruption in mankind and were unafraid to speak the truth as watchmen on the wall.

“The prophet was an individual who said No to his society, condemning its habits and assumptions, its complacency, waywardness, and syncretism. He was often compelled to proclaim the very opposite of what his heart expected. His fundamental objective was to reconcile man and God. Why do the two need reconciliation? Perhaps it is due to man’s false sense of sovereignty, to his abuse of freedom, to his aggressive, sprawling pride, resenting God’s involvement in history” (p. xxix).*

#268: Mayday Monday – “Return of the Gods”

A book that exposes why our societies and cultures are degrading in front of our eyes.
“I F THE [ancient] gods were to return, if they were to reenter Western civilization, how would they do it? And what gods would they be?

“They would not come as they had in ancient times. A modern world requires a different approach. And a world that had been touched by the gospel and had known the Word of God was far different from the pre-Christian and pagan world that had not. So the gods would alter their appearances and hide their identities.

“It would begin in the shadows, on the fringes of American society and Western culture. It was there that the gods gained their first footholds. And from there they began their steady and progressive penetration of mainstream culture. But their ultimate object was not infiltration but domination.”

#266: Mayday Monday: “The Greatest Wrong to Our Children”?

(An unheeded observation from 32 years ago.)

“[Richard Eckersley, a prominent social scientist wrote] ‘Robbed of a broader meaning to our lives, ... we appear to have entered an era of mass obsession, usually with ourselves: our appearance, our health and fitness, our work, our sex lives, our children’s performance, our personal development.’

“ Avowedly non-religious, Eckersley offered conclusions more at home in a sermon than a government essay: ‘It may be, then, the greatest wrong we are doing to our children is not the broken families or the scarcity of jobs (damaging though these are), but the creation of a culture that gives them nothing greater than themselves to believe in — no god, no king, no country” (Richard Eckersley, Apocalypse? No! [Commission for the Future, 1992], 14 – 15).

“The Ten Commandments taught all this more than three thousand years ago. Abandoning the Creator will lead to a passion to accumulate smaller, created meanings in the hope that they can make up for the loss of the “broader meaning,” to use Eckersley’s euphemism. Breaking the first commandment leads organically to breaking the tenth. Coveting is both a social and a spiritual problem.”*

#264: Mayday Monday - The Dispositional Cement that Binds Men

A textbook that should be taught in every grade of High School as a wake-up call to the mechanics of tyranny and the foibles of mankind.

“Tyrannies are perpetuated by diffident men who do not possess the courage to act out their [moral] beliefs. Time and again in the experiment people disvalued what they were doing but could not muster the inner resources to translate their values into action (p. 10).*

“These inhumane policies may have originated in the mind of a single person, but they could only have been carried out on a massive scale if a very large number of people obeyed orders.
“Obedience is the psychological mechanism that links individual action to political purpose. It is the dispositional cement that binds men to systems of authority (p. 1).*

“Subjects have learned from childhood that it is a fundamental breach of moral conduct to hurt another person against his will. Yet, almost half the subjects abandon this tenet in following the instructions of an authority who has no special powers to enforce his commands. To disobey would bring no material loss or punishment. It is clear from the remarks and behavior of many participants that in punishing the victim they were often acting against their own values. Subjects often expressed disapproval of shocking a man in the face of his objections, and others denounced it as stupid and senseless. Yet many followed the experimental commands” (p. 41).*
