A blog for the END TIMES begun May 1st 2022 bearing witness from God's WORD concerning the true nature and condition of mankind WITHOUT CHRIST and the FIERY TRIALS that can purify, all of which counter the romanticized, blinded philosophies of men like those promulgated by Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Jeremy Griffith, and many others.
Escalating to the END TIMES
As of January 2024, this blog will begin a weekly or bi-weekly profile of books, articles, or videos by whistleblowers and truth-tellers proving to the world that the human condition is in a dire state of MAYDAY! because crime and corruption in high places has been allowed to prevail.

#268: Mayday Monday – “Return of the Gods”
A book that exposes why our societies and cultures are degrading in front of our eyes.
Cahn, Jonathan. The Return of the Gods (p. 28). Charisma House. Kindle Edition.
“I F THE [ancient] gods were to return, if they were to reenter Western civilization, how would they do it? And what gods would they be?----------------------------------/
“They would not come as they had in ancient times. A modern world requires a different approach. And a world that had been touched by the gospel and had known the Word of God was far different from the pre-Christian and pagan world that had not. So the gods would alter their appearances and hide their identities.
“It would begin in the shadows, on the fringes of American society and Western culture. It was there that the gods gained their first footholds. And from there they began their steady and progressive penetration of mainstream culture. But their ultimate object was not infiltration but domination.”

#266: Mayday Monday: “The Greatest Wrong to Our Children”?
(An unheeded observation from 32 years ago.)
“[Richard Eckersley, a prominent social scientist wrote] ‘Robbed of a broader meaning to our lives, ... we appear to have entered an era of mass obsession, usually with ourselves: our appearance, our health and fitness, our work, our sex lives, our children’s performance, our personal development.’
“ Avowedly non-religious, Eckersley offered conclusions more at home in a sermon than a government essay: ‘It may be, then, the greatest wrong we are doing to our children is not the broken families or the scarcity of jobs (damaging though these are), but the creation of a culture that gives them nothing greater than themselves to believe in — no god, no king, no country” (Richard Eckersley, Apocalypse? No! [Commission for the Future, 1992], 14 – 15).
“The Ten Commandments taught all this more than three thousand years ago. Abandoning the Creator will lead to a passion to accumulate smaller, created meanings in the hope that they can make up for the loss of the “broader meaning,” to use Eckersley’s euphemism. Breaking the first commandment leads organically to breaking the tenth. Coveting is both a social and a spiritual problem.”*

#264: Mayday Monday - The Dispositional Cement that Binds Men
A textbook that should be taught in every grade of High School as a wake-up call to the mechanics of tyranny and the foibles of mankind.
“Tyrannies are perpetuated by diffident men who do not possess the courage to act out their [moral] beliefs. Time and again in the experiment people disvalued what they were doing but could not muster the inner resources to translate their values into action (p. 10).*
“These inhumane policies may have originated in the mind of a single person, but they could only have been carried out on a massive scale if a very large number of people obeyed orders.
“Obedience is the psychological mechanism that links individual action to political purpose. It is the dispositional cement that binds men to systems of authority (p. 1).*
“Subjects have learned from childhood that it is a fundamental breach of moral conduct to hurt another person against his will. Yet, almost half the subjects abandon this tenet in following the instructions of an authority who has no special powers to enforce his commands. To disobey would bring no material loss or punishment. It is clear from the remarks and behavior of many participants that in punishing the victim they were often acting against their own values. Subjects often expressed disapproval of shocking a man in the face of his objections, and others denounced it as stupid and senseless. Yet many followed the experimental commands” (p. 41).*

#262: Mayday Monday – “Engaging the Powers”
“What we see instead is a mounting impatience with the laborious processes of civilized life and a restless eagerness to embrace violent solutions. Better to mete out instant, summary justice than risk the red tape and delays and bumbling of the courts.26 The yearning for a messianic redeemer who will set things right is thus, in its essence, a totalitarian fantasy.”*
“In the service of one's country, the spy is permitted to murder, seduce, lie, steal, commit illegal entry, tap phones without a court order, and otherwise do anything necessary to protect the values of Christian civilization (the James Bond movies, "Mission: Impossible," etc.).”** ____________________________________
