1) Read Ordinary Men: Reserve Police Battalion 101 and the Final Solution in Poland by Christopher R. Browning

2) Discuss with your peers and staff how affirming the concept of compulsory re-education might persuade ordinary people to find justification in censoring, suppressing, oppressing, maligning, persecuting, destroying those who are adjudged in need of re-education.
